After going home with three Grammys Sunday night including “Album of the Year,” Bad Bunny is continuing to ride high with the release of his first signature sneaker from Adidas.

The Adidas BadBo 1.0 just got a surprise release in its debut brown and white colorway. Limited to just 1,994 pairs to commemorate the artist’s year of birth, the sneaker just went live on a dedicated website at the same time this article was published.

Nubuck and hairy teasel suede define the upper, which features two shades of brown for overlays sitting atop a white base. The crux of the design are a pair of darker wing clips that radiate from the tongue, with a lighter shade of brown is used for a mudguard wrapping up around the rear clip, as well as the heel.

An asymmetrical inner-collar stops short on the medial side of each shoe, with Adidas’ logo peaking out on its lateral side as the lone exterior brand placement. Bad Bunny‘s signature stitch design graces the tongue, and the heel is embroidered with “1994/1994.” Another small text hit arrives with “BadBo” printed in blue on the lace tips.

For the sole unit, EVA foam sits atop translucent rubber.

Adidas said in a press release the shoe is intended to embody duality while mixing athletic heritage with modern materiality and bold construction. And in a campaign that debuted over the weekend, Bad Bunny said [translated from Spanish]: “There are no big dreams or small dreams. To me, they’re all the same. You decide which one to go for first.”

Bad Bunny has been collaborating on Adidas sneakers since 2021 and has brought warped designs to existing models including the Forum Low, Response SL and Gazelle. Having his own shoe now puts him on a higher level and as a clear successor to Kanye West, now known as Ye, as Adidas’ chief partner in music.

Having worn a tuxedo to accept his Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny didn’t wear the BadBo 1.0 for the biggest night in music. But with his Super Bowl performance just days away with a more lax dress code, it would seem a sure bet that he wears his sneaker there.

The Adidas BadBo 1.0 in brown and white is out now on a website created for the collaborators. Pricing is set at $160.
