The Nike Air Max 95 has generated substantial energy this summer, and now its most iconic colorway is set to charge up A’ja Wilson’s signature sneaker.
The Nike A’One Sequoia takes after the Air Max 95 Neon with a mix of greens, including Volt and some dark enough to look like black. Notes of gray can be seen in the greens used for the signature gradient mesh upper, which allows the Volt Swoosh to pop. Even darker shades are used for the rest of the sneaker, including the tongue, eyestay and midsole, setting the stage for additional hits of neon green for the branding and TPU bezel.
Since launching late in spring, Wilson’s long-awaited signature sneaker debut has been a hit for both WNBA players and the public. It combines a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole core with a firmer injected midsole carrier to offer both comfort and support, and the layered look of its upper keeps it light and breathable while offering a standout look through several colorways.

In a blockbuster year for the Air Max 95, no colorway has commanded more attention than the original Neon edition. It was reportedly limited to just 10,000 upon its April release with Big Bubble construction and was followed by a surprise with the Reverse Neon variant, which came from designer Sergio Lozano’s original sketches and sold exclusively at the Museum of Modern Art.
The Nike A’One Sequoia will release Aug. 8 through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $115.
