Some things old and some things new are set to form Jordan Brand‘s sneaker lineup for April.
The fan-favorite Air Jordan 5 “Grape” will make its return, while the Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred” worn by Michael Jordan in the 1996 NBA Finals is getting its release in its original form for the fist time. Two Air Jordan 1 Highs are also on the way to kick off the “Rare Air” series, both employing some unusual flourishes that have already generated intrigue. The Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 3, too, will get brand-new colorways to round out the plans for the first full month of spring.

Originally expected to release in January, this Air Jordan 1 Low replicates a high-top that was itself modeled after the suit Michael Jordan wore while accepting his Rookie of the Year award.

This original Air Jordan 5 colorway is perhaps better known for being worn by Will Smith than Michael Jordan, as the purple and green accents didn’t conform to the player’s Chicago Bulls uniform.

A brand-new, women’s exclusive colorway sees the Air Jordan 3 take on metallic silver detailing.
Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred”

Worn by Michael Jordan in the 1996 NBA Finals, this low-top iteration of his Air Jordan has never released in its true original form. An AJ 11 Low “Bred” did release in 2015 but with a non-original red sockliner.
