2026 has already been lined up as a big year for the Air Jordan 6, the sneaker Michael Jordan wore for his first NBA title, and the emergence of a premium treatment now shows February alone will be particularly loaded.
The Air Jordan 6 Bin23 will be the first sneaker to release from the luxurious collection since 2011 and will only get a run of 2,300 pairs. Predominantly blacked out, the sneaker features a high-end leather and suede upper with the red wax seal “Bin 23” logo on the heel. Small bursts of red come again for the triangle formed at the third eyelet, as well as contrast stitching for the heel pull and the heel’s Air unit.
Another refined touch comes via the silver-tone metal lace toggle, and each pair will also come with wooden shoe trees. Crucially, as reported by Complex in its reveal of the sneaker, this and the other Bin23 releases on the docket will be the only Air Jordans this year to come with retro cards, postcard-sized inserts that give historical details about the respective model.

Jordan Brand originally ran the Bin23 series in 2010 and 2011, bringing refined looks to the Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 3. It’s believed that the original plan was to feature every model from the Air Jordan 1 to Air Jordan 23 in the series, but the idea didn’t catch on with consumers enough for it to continue.
Now, it appears Jordan Brand is more confident in its ability to sell collectors on the premium builds with a price to match, as the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 will join the collection in 2026. The series’ return also comes as part of efforts to regenerate brand heat and course correct for the oversaturation of many models.
Dropping alongside the AJ6 Bin23 will be the Air Jordan 6 Salesman, a previously unreleased sample from the ’90s, as well as one of the three colorways from Levi’s Air Jordan 3 collection.
The Air Jordan 6 Bin23 will release Feb. 14 at select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $355.
