Michael Jordan’s Extra-Premium Bin 23 Line Is Adding One of the Most Iconic Air Jordans

The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG joins the Premio Bin 23 series.

The return of Jordan Brand’s luxe Premio Bin 23 line has already produced some of 2026’s most anticipated sneaker drops, and there’s even more to come. In addition to the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 8 Bin 23 models, another one of Michael Jordan’s most significant sneakers will reportedly receive the premium treatment in the new year — and it could wind up being one of the hardest pairs to obtain.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG Prm Bin 23 will come in a Team Red/Metallic Gold/Burgundy Crush/Coconut Milk/Smokey Mauve/Gym Red colorway. Although in-hand images of the unreleased pair have yet to surface, an early mock-up is said to accurately depict what the ’26 style will look like.

The rendering paints a red iteration of Jordan’s third signature sneaker that’s balanced with a darker burgundy shade and features metallic gold accents throughout, including at the midsole and on the heel’s Nike Air branding. A Coconut Milk shade will fill in the rest of the midsole, with Smokey Mauve appearing on the rubber outsole. Material wise, the style is expected to feature premium suede, nubuck and leather.

Each of the models in the original Bin 23 collection were individually numbered with under 2,300 pairs produced of each style. The upcoming Air Jordan 3 will follow suit with just 2,300 total units.

Solidifying the upcoming style as a Bin 23 release is its wax seal stamp on the tongue, a detail carried over from the original Bin 23 line. The ultra-premium Jordan franchise was first launched in 2010 and continued in 2011 before being discontinued. The 2010s franchise featured the Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 13 models. At the time, Jordan Brand’s messaging indicated the Bin 23 series would include more models, but the line was abandoned in ’11 before recent reports of its ’26 comeback.

“Bin 23 is a remarkable collection of Air Jordans I-XX3,” read a ’10 press release. “When the time is right, select shoes from history’s most revered line of footwear will appear in exceptional releases conceived for the true connoisseur.”

With elevated materials and marketing comes an increased price tag. The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG Prm Bin 23 is expected to retail for $350 when it is released during summer ’26. Readers can expect the pair, which has a style code of IO7744-600, to be available from a small selection of Jordan Brand doors.
