Unless you’re a UCLA student athlete or have an exorbitantly large sneaker budget, you probably won’t be able to get your hands on the school’s luxe Air Jordan 4 exclusives. However, following an initial reveal from the team in January, a new detailed look at the pair has surfaced courtesy of collector @englishsole.
The unreleased Air Jordan 4 UCLA PE follows the material and theme first seen on 2023’s WNBA-exclusive “First Class” Air Jordan 4. The player exclusive theme was conceptualized by former Jordan Brand promo designer Kelsey Amy and features a number of luxe details including ostrich-textured panels, metallic gold branding and hardware and quilted insoles. Unique to each PE pair is a diamond-like stone in place of a basketball on the shoe’s Jumpman logo.

For UCLA’s version, the Air Jordan 4 is decked out in a light blue color nubuck with a white rubber outsole. The school’s logo appears on a gold hangtag, as does “UCLA” text on the shoe’s gold dubraes.
“I’ve been annoying anyone who will listen about putting a gem in the Jumpman ball for years. Beautiful to finally see her come to life.” Amy wrote in a 2023 Instagram post.
In addition to the WNBA “First Class” pair and the UCLA style pictured here, other Jordan Brand-affiliated schools that have received matching Air Jordan 4 PEs include the Cincinnati Bearcats, Florida Gators, Georgetown Hoyas, Houston Cougars, Howard Bisons, North Carolina Tar Heels and Oklahoma Sooners.
These latest images arrive at a favorable time for the Bruins. During Selection Sunday, the school’s women’s team landed a No. 1 seed in the NCAA March Madness tournament while the men’s team earned a No. 7 seed.
Given their extremely limited nature, the 2025 Air Jordan 4 college exclusives have been slow to appear on the secondary market, but pairs do appear occasionally. As of publishing, StockX does not show any sales history for the UCLA PE, and it’s not yet listed on GOAT.
