Air Jordan 11s may be Jordan Brand’s de facto holiday releases, but the label will soon apply the Christmas treatment to another one of its iconic models.
According to early information shared by @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, an Air Jordan 3 Retro “Santa” colorway will be released this holiday season. In-hand images of the new colorway aren’t yet available, but a speculative mock-up gives readers an idea of what can be expected later this year.
The pair is slated to feature a predominantly red upper with matching red elephant print overlays, a cream tongue, eyestay and midsole and a black heel, liner and outsole. It’s also possible that even more overt Christmas-themed details will be featured on the shoe, although the colorway alone should be enough to drive the point home.

Before this Santa Air Jordan 3 arrives, another Jordan classic will receive a different holiday theme in October. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Halloween is expected to be released this fall in a black upper with orange accents and glow-in-the-dark detailing.
As for the brand’s traditional holiday releases, several plans surrounding this year’s Air Jordan 11 releases have also begun to surface. For the first time in a decade, the patent leather-adorned model will return in its beloved “Space Jam” colorway and will also be released in a brand-new alternate look that’s reportedly being called “Space Jam Galaxy.”
And the Christmas theme is a new one for the Air Jordan 3, the model is no stranger to holiday-themed releases. In 2025, the shoe was given a Valentine’s Day colorway and in a looser connection, the Air Jordan 3 has been featured in special Black Friday and Cyber Monday launches.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Santa is currently set to be released on Nov. 21 for a retail price of $215 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers. An exact colorway and style code have yet to be confirmed, but FN will provide updates as they’re shared.
