Tiffany Haddish Dances in Lucchese Cowboy Boots Gifted by Kane Brown: ‘I Want to Be Able to Say I Own Them’

Brown recently released a new song about Lucchese boots called "2 Pair."

Tiffany Haddish, who participated in Fanatics Fest over the weekend, recently received a special gift which brought out her dance moves: a pair of her own Lucchese cowboy boots given to her by country star Kane Brown, whose new song “2 Pair” is about a love of boots by the enduring Western brand.

In a video jointly posted by the comedian and the singer-songwriter on social media, Brown says to Haddish, “I have a new song called ‘2 Pair.’ I talked with Lucchese and so I got you pair of Lucchese.”

“At the end of the day, you can say you own a pair,” Brown says, to which Haddish replies, “I want to be able to say I own them, yes I do.”

She began putting on the shoes, which looked to be the Priscilla boot in Patent Crinkle Black, and immediately broke into dance. The official Lucchese account commented on the Instagram post, “This is the only way to receive a pair of boots!!!!”

Kane Brown’s song “2 Pair” is an ode to Lucchese boots, which have been around since 1883 and commemorated 140 years in 2023. The chorus of the shoe-focused song goes, “Give mе two pairs of Luccheses/All-white shirt and somе bootcut jeans/I’ll go all night, stomping to the beat/I just got a check, blew it all on my feet.”

Lucchese has strong ties with country music and American Western culture: for example, a second collection made in collaboration with Parker McCollum was announced earlier this year and a collection with Chris Stapleton came out in 2023. The brand was also revealed as the official bootmaker for the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.

Since the gifting, Haddish has continued to show her love of statement boots. Out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, she wore an asymmetric black midi dress with a pair of slouchy black boots with a pointed toe and flared heel. As for Brown, he just did a surprise performance with Taylor Swift in Nashville on Tuesday, singing a duet of “Shake it Off” at the Brooklyn Bowl for the Tight Ends & Friends benefit concert.
