Sydney Sweeney is taking New York City by storm this week, hitting the streets in a host of designer looks. Currently on a press tour for her forthcoming biographical sports drama, “Christy,” the actress’ fashion streak continued last night for an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
For the talk show, “The White Lotus” alum wore a full look from Patou’s fall 2025 collection, including over-the-knee black boots. Rendered in high-shine patent leather, the shoes — which grazed Sweeney’s mid-thighs — featured a square toe and second-skin-like fit. Meanwhile, the boot’s tall block heel gave the A-lister a bit of height. Sweeney’s look played with proportions, with the leg-hugging footwear offsetting her oversized ensemble.
Dressed by celebrity stylist Molly Dickson, the car aficionado wore a plum-colored pleated midi skirt with a slit in the front, allowing the boots to peek out from under the billowy silhouette. On top, the “Euphoria” star layered a matching shoulder pad-adorned blazer over a silky navy blouse.

For accessories, her thick croc-embossed belt complemented the patent leather boots. Sweeney rounded out the getup with a diamond necklace, small stud earrings and Gucci oval-shaped sunglasses. The 28-year-old’s glossy blond bob, courtesy of hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza and colorist Jacob Schwartz, added another dose of shine to the look.
Sweeney’s boots continued a string of luxe silhouettes in the actress’ shoe rotation. On Tuesday, for an afternoon date with new flame Scooter Braun, Sweeney was spotted in Bryant Park in brown suede booties. Meanwhile, Wednesday night, she was out and about in the Big Apple wearing patent leather slingback pumps. It’s anyone’s guess as to what other shoes she packed for the New York City leg of the press tour.
