Sheryl Lee Ralph Approves of Clear Shoe Trend on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

She wore a square-toe heel style.

Sheryl Lee Ralph made an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” episode airing on Tuesday modeling the enduring clear heels trend.

The “Abbott Elementary” actress wore a slingback heel style featuring a shiny metallic gold base and simple curved clear strap across the toes. The style also includes a gold slingback strap around the ankle and a sharp square toe in front giving an angular edge to the look. The set was boosted by a flared heel of modest height. The ongoing clear heels trend has been modeled recently by Amal Clooney, Angel Reese and more stars.

Ralph’s footwear accompanied a semi-sheer silk chiffon blouse, satin tie and colorful pencil skirt, all hailing from Harbison Studio. The skirt showcased a colorful geometric pattern with colors like gold, brown, red and blue featured.

Ralph is often styled by her daughter, Ivy “Coco” Maurice, who curated this appearance as well. She also dressed her for Sunday’s Golden Globes, when she wore a custom chocolate brown Harbison Studio gown with Manolo Blahnik shoes.

The Emmy winner recently revealed to E! News her red carpet shoe hacks, which she said include Lidocaine and glue.

“When you’re coming down these red carpets it’s not time for hiccups,” she told the news outlet. “I live by Lidocaine if the shoe even has the possibility of being uncomfortable and then I spray the shoe with spray adhesive, get my foot in and there is no flip-floppage.”
