Serena Williams is hitting the press circuit in New York to promote her upcoming Prime Video docuseries “The CEO Club” and her upcoming Ro Super Bowl commercial. On Wednesday, Williams stopped by the NBC Studios wearing a pair of mesh slingbacks by Aquazzura, which is one of her friend Meghan Markle’s go-to luxury shoe brands.
The professional tennis player opted for the Aquazzura Lune Sling 105, which are currently on sale for $470 in the red version. Williams wore the shoes in the rich, black suede style. The shoes are crafted from wavy foot-framing panels of suede and mesh that add a captivating detail to the front of the pumps. The mesh panels provide a peek-a-boo effect to the heels, showing a small glimpse of the foot.

The Lune Sling are defined by an elegant pointed toe and a dramatic 105mm stiletto heel. The delicate slingback strap adds a soft touch to the shoe, while holding the foot in place. The shoes feature a padded leather insole and signature logo detailing, as well as the Aquazzura gold pineapple emblem on the sole.
She paired the black pumps with a denim Ro hat, a belted, wool wrap coat in a light gray color, and a cream dress underneath. Williams was on the “Today Show” where she talked about her new GLP-1 Super Bowl commercial from Ro and her journey with weight loss, and also discussed a potential return to professional tennis. While on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,” the athlete opened up about her upcoming docuseries, which follows other famous women leaders like Thalia, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Loren Ridinger, Winnie Harlow, and more. The show will premiere on Prime Video on Feb. 23.
