Regina Hall is one of the stars of Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” which is hitting theaters on Friday. The actress has been hitting the pavement alongside the star-studded cast and has been reaching for a specific model of Yves Saint Laurent platform heels for her many appearances.
Her go-to shoe has been the Saint Laurent Tribute Platform sandals. For a screening of the film at The Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theatre on Sunday in New York, she opted for a pair of the heels in the black smooth leather variation. The fashion house offers the heels in patent leather, various colors and two different heel heights. The sandals retail for $1,100.

The high heel stiletto sandals feature three intertwining straps on the caged vamp and are made with metal-free tanned leather. The heels also feature T-bar in the front front, which paired with the platform, gives the shoe a 1970s aesthetic.
The heels feature a beveled platform, a covered heel and adjustable ankle strap engraved with Saint Laurent Paris. The style Hall wore balanced atop a heel measuring 5.3 inches, with a platform measuring 1.2 inches in the front and an arch height measuring 4.1 inches.
For the New York screening, she paired the heels with a black faux leather, trenchcoat-inspired dress. The frock featured a collar and a thick belt that cinched her waist, and was completed with a high-low skirt with lace trimming. She completed the look with sheer tights in black and wore her hair in a low bun.
For the “One Battle After Another” world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles in early September, Hall wore the same heels in a dark beige. The shoes peeked through her long Monique Lhuillier dress, as she posed with costars Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti.
However, her love for the Tribute Platform Sandals predates the “One Battle After Another” press tour. Hall wore the heels in beige while taking on the cohosting seat on “Today Jenna & Friends” alongside Jenna Bush Hager in March. Platform sandals are a red carpet staple, and Saint Laurent’s La Scandale, Debbie, Tribute and Bianca styles are a popular choice for celebrities.
