Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King created a twinning streak during Paris Fashion Week when they followed up their shoe moment at Wednesday’s Stella McCartney show with a snake-effect pump moment at Thursday’s Chloé show.
The best friends grounded their ensembles with Chloé’s Cleia pumps, a style with a T-bar construction which offers the set a retro allure. The toe is softly pointed and small triangular cut outs add another dimension to the look. The made-in-Italy pump is elevated by a 70 mm curved stiletto heel with a gold-tone tip engraved with the brand logo. Winfrey and King modeled snake-effect versions of the Cleia, with Winfrey showcasing a darker beige hue and King going with a lighter off-white. The media power players are helping to carry the snakeskin footwear trend forward — it not only picked up momentum last year but is showing up on runways for the fall 2026 season, too.
The Cleia can also be found in patent leather with gold-tone graduated cabochon studs, and reinvented as a wedge sandal.
