Myha’la Puts Her Stamp on the Clear Shoe Trend in Valentino Heels

The "Industry" star wore the look at the screening of "They Will Kill You" at SXSW.

Hot on the heels of her appearance at the star-studded 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Myha’la touched down in Austin for the screening of her latest project, “They Will Kill You,” at SXSW. For the event, the actress put her own spin on the clear shoe trend that’s been gaining speed in the fashion world.

Myha’la opted for a pair of Valentino’s black open-toe Révélé suede silhouette, which retail for $1,100. Set on a 105mm heel, the striking silhouette boasted a razor-sharp pointed toe and a deep, curved vamp that elongated Myha’la’s foot. A barely-there clear strap ran across the toes, adding a modern twist to the silhouette, while Valentino’s antique-effect brass logo was stamped on the back of the shoe. In addition to black, the style is available in rust and aquamarine colors.

Celebrities have been quick to get on board with the trend. Karol G, for one, tapped into the look for the Grammys last month, sporting translucent PVC mules from Gianvito Rossi. Meanwhile, in January, Amal Clooney made an appearance at the Netflix Golden Globes after party in pointed-toe pumps with a transparent upper, also from Gianvito Rossi.

The clear shoe trend shows no signs of slowing down in the coming months. In fact, fashion industry veteran Anthony Vaccarello just co-signed the look, sending a pair of see-through pointed-toe pumps down Saint Laurent’s fall 2026 runway.

Last night, Myha’la styled her clear shoes with a maximalist look from Valentino’s spring 2026 collection. Designed by Alessandro Michele, the light purple structured jacket — worn as a dress on the catwalk — featured a pinstriped design and a feather-trimmed collar. The “Industry” star skipped jewelry, instead tossing on a pair of wraparound sunglasses for photos outside. She wore her hair in a high bun, finishing the look with lilac eye shadow to match the jacket.
