Miley Cyrus had an outfit change during a release event for her album “Something Beautiful.” The intimate event, hosted by TikTok at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday, was attended by the singer’s family, friends and some of her biggest fans.
Cyrus wore a little black dress featuring a sleeveless, mock-neck design for the first portion of the evening, during which she spoke to fans in the audience about her latest project.
The Grammy winner opted for a chic pair of shoes to pair with the minidress. On her feet, she wore the popular Maison Margiela Tabi ballet flats. The slip-on flats are made in sheepskin leather and feature a leather upper, lining and sole. The shoes feature Margiela’s signature round split-toe detail, with a knot design at the toe. The shoe features a dainty 5-mm flat heel, slightly elevating the shoe off the ground.

The Maison Margiela Tabi flats, and their iconic split-toe design, were introduced in 1988 as part of the brand’s debut collection. The design was inspired by traditional Japanese tabi socks, and the flats have since become a signature style for the label.
Cyrus slipped into a more extravagant design and heels for a short performance during the album release event. She wore a silver and beige beaded, fringed halter minidress, which was embellished with stones and jewels throughout. She paired the dress with high-heeled, strappy, metallic silver sandals.
Cyrus performed some of her songs, including “The Climb,” as well as tracks from her upcoming ninth studio album, “Something Beautiful.” The project is set to be released on Friday and features tracks like “End of the World” and “More to Lose.”
