Melissa McCarthy’s McQueen shoes made a sparkling statement when she appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Thursday.
McCarthy wore a pair of booties from the luxury brand, the Arc style featuring onate crystal embellishments. In addition to the elaborate jewelry-like decorations, the shoes featured a unique sculpted silver heel which ran parallel to the ground rather than vertical, making for a floating aesthetic. In a hybrid look, the shoes were partially mesh and displayed a d’Orsay pump design as well.
The actress’ dazzling footwear complemented a black blazer-inspired dress with a fitted bodice and pronounced hips in addition to a flowing skirt. A lace layer accented the look above the wide lapels. Outside in New York, McCarthy completed the ensemble with an overcoat and bag featuring a crushed velvet floral design in a perky blue shade.
