Loewe footwear was known for being unconventional under former creative director Jonathan Anderson, and the new design duo delivered on that front. One distinctive look was a high-vamp clear kitten heel with socks underneath, making for a unique layered aesthetic. The see-through shoe could also be seen on the runway without the sock accompaniment. This structured silhouette showed up in different colors and made a statement with its dramatic lines. The look was boldest in a hot pink and black version, creating an attention-grabbing contrast.

The new collection “was an upbeat and zesty start for the duo, who steered the brand in a more casual, sporty and hot-blooded direction,” Miles Socha said in his review for WWD.

Other standout shoes during Paris Fashion Week have come from Dior, with new creative director Jonathan Anderson and design director of shoes Nina Christen presenting mules with an oversized rosette embellishment, among other styles. And Louis Vuitton drew attention to its footwear with needlepoint slippers, elegant socks and more designs presented.
