Lily James leaned into modern officewear in New York City on Thursday, playfully punctuating the look with Jimmy Choo pumps.
The actress was seen outside ABC Studio in the Scarlett 95, a black napa leather silhouette from the British brand’s fall lineup. The pump is cut with a sharply pointed toe and threaded with a corset-style lace detail at the vamp, set on a 95mm “drop” stiletto that narrows into a sculptural rounded base. The $1,075 style is finished with practical touches: a padded insole and hidden rubber grip built into the sole, elements Jimmy Choo has been threading into its newer releases.
She paired them with a silk blouse and wide-leg black trousers, keeping the palette clean and the silhouette relaxed. A croc-embossed top-handle bag in black leather and narrow rectangular sunglasses completed the monochrome palette.

The Scarlett has been a focus of Jimmy Choo’s fall 2025 campaign, fronted by Sydney Sweeney. “The power of shoes and accessories to transform, acting out the possible characters,” creative director Sandra Choi told WWD when unveiling the campaign earlier this month. The corset lace and experimental heel have quickly become hallmarks of the collection, showcased alongside updated loafers and hobo bags.
James has long favored the brand’s more directional designs. In June, she stepped out in New York wearing archival spotted Bow sandals from Jimmy Choo’s “The Archive: 1997–2001” capsule, which revived silhouettes made famous by “Sex and the City.”
James is currently fronting press for “Swiped,” in which she portrays Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd. Directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg, the Hulu biopic premiered at TIFF earlier this month and will stream on Friday. The film traces Wolfe Herd’s exit from Tinder and the launch of Bumble, set against the backdrop of Silicon Valley’s male-dominated tech culture.
