Kerry Washington went for a traditional and classic shoe to sit front row at the Prada spring 2026 fashion show, which took place as part of Milan Fashion Week on Thursday. Washington rarely shies away from a high heel, and this time around she opted for a pair of burgundy Prada leather pumps.
The calfskin leather pumps feature a sophisticated, feminine design with slight contemporary modifications to a timeless pump silhouette. The style is accented through bold, elongated lines that run from the pointy upper to the tapered, leather-covered heel, measuring 85 mm.

The refined simplicity of the heels’ shapes is enhanced by a subtle gloss finish of burgundy satin, which enriches the shoe with a modern yet sophisticated touch. The shoes feature a leather and rubber sole with a silver lettering logo.
While the heels look like a classic pair of stiletto heels from the front, the “Little Fires Everywhere” star showed off the side view of the shoe that gave a clearer and prominent look at how extended the pointed toe is, adding some dramatic flair to the footwear. The shoes retail for $1,200 and are also available in smooth, black leather on the Prada website.
Washington kept the rest of her look more relaxed, wearing a gray gauze pencil skirt with beaded and embroidered sequin floral accents on the front that matched her shoes. She paired the knee-length skirt with a simple charcoal gray tank top, a brown teddy jacket draped around her arms and a white Prada Dada bag.
High-heeled pumps and slingbacks appeared to be the shoe of choice for the Prada show’s attendees. Charli D’Amelio wore the same shoes as Washington, while Eiza Gonzalez, Emma Chamberlain and other stars also opted for the classic shoe style.
