Scarlett Johansson went for a preppy-inspired Prada look for the “Eleanor the Great” photo call at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Wednesday in France.
To complete the navy blue skirt and blazer set, the actress popped on a pair of white, calf leather stiletto pointed pumps. The slip-on style heels feature square-cut vamps, a high heel measuring 85mm and an exaggerated pointed toe.

The elongated lines of the silhouette, which have become a staple in Prada‘s pumps, add a bold, modern touch to the timeless classic. Selena Gomez wore a custom pair in baby blue satin to the 2025 Golden Globes earlier this year.
For her ensemble, Johansson wore Prada’s double-breasted pinstriped wool jacket in navy blue, which retails for $4,800. The tailored blazer features modern details, such as cuffed sleeves and the visible logo label.
She unbuttoned the jacket and paired it with a menswear-inspired, white cotton poplin shirt from Prada, which retails for $1,590. She paired the look with a pleated poplin skirt, also in navy, which retails for $1,850.
Johansson stuck with Prada for the “Eleanor the Great” premiere on Tuesday as well. For the screening at Cannes, she wore Prada’s logo-plaque slingback pumps and Prada’s sable dress in black. She wore another Prada design for the “A Private Life” red carpet, wearing a custom light blue chiffon strapless gown.
“Eleanor the Great” marks Johansson’s directorial debut. June Squibb plays the titular role, bringing life to a witty and troublesome 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein. After the devastating loss of her best friend, she leaves Florida and moves to New York City, where, after struggling to make new friends, she befriends a 19-year-old student.
