Kerry Washington brought Paris Texas’ signature pin heel to Apple TV Press Day at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday, wearing the brand’s Lidia boots with a black leather look from Hermès’ spring 2026 collection.
The knee-high Lidia boots featured smooth black nappa leather with a close shaft and inner side zip. A sharply pointed toe led into an ultra-thin stiletto set at roughly 105mm, for which the brand and silhouette have become known. The shaft kept a straight line through the calf, with slight natural creasing at the ankle when she moved.
Washington’s dress continued the all-black approach in mixed leather textures. The Hermès design combined a fitted, zip-front bodice with quilted vertical panels that extended past the hem of a straight leather skirt. The skirt ended just above the top of the boots, with sheer black tights visible between the two layers. The long outer panels opened at the front, putting the Paris Texas boots on full display.

Washington’s appearance added another entry to the growing list of Paris Texas Lidia sightings this season. At the 2026 Grammy Awards two days earlier, Tyla arrived in the collection’s minimalist mules, an almond-toe, open-back style that sits on the same 4.1-inch covered pin heel. Sydney Sweeney wore Lidia slingbacks on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” a month earlier in December, choosing a cherry-cola patent version with a slim heel and narrow pointed toe for a cranberry Alex Perry dress.
Across the line, the Lidia family has expanded from mules and slingbacks into boots, ankle styles and thong iterations, all built around that narrow heel and pointed forefoot. Product listings for the boot emphasize Italian-made nappa uppers and a 105mm heel, keeping the silhouette consistent whether rendered in classic black leather, brushed finishes or Western-inspired embroidered versions.
Washington’s press day appearance came ahead of the launch of “Imperfect Women,” the Apple TV+ psychological thriller she stars in and executive produces with Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara. The eight-episode limited series, adapted from Araminta Hall’s novel, follows three longtime friends whose lives are upended by a violent crime and subsequent investigation. The series is set to premiere on March 18.
