Jaden Smith repped Christian Louboutin footwear at the Louis Vuitton fall 2026 show in Paris on Tuesday, the final day of Paris Fashion Week. It was a fitting choice for the multihyphenate as he serves as the first men’s creative director of the French luxury brand.
To complete his all-black ensemble, Smith selected a minimalist-lug sole silhouette with a message on the toe reading “Deep in Cosmic Space” in white lettering. These words are borrowed from Smith’s statement describing his fall 2026 collection for the label: “This collection is inspired by the history of working men throughout the centuries: the stone masons, the scribes, the doctors. It’s inspired by the lost epochs of time and made by hands born from stars forged under immense pressure deep in cosmic space.”

Christian Louboutin was also written across the back of Smith’s shoes, denoting the brand alongside the signature red sole. He chose this set of shoes to accompany a pair of ultra-baggy pants, a long button-down and a cropped leather jacket. His outfit was completed by sunglasses and a handbag modeled after Louis Vuitton’s ateliers in Asnieres.
Smith was announced as men’s creative director at Christian Louboutin in September, with the brand’s Instagram post about the appointment generating $5.4 million in media impact value over 48 hours, per Launchmetrics.
“This is one of the biggest honors of my life, and I feel a lot of pressure to be able to live up to everything that Christian has done for the house, and also stepping into such a serious role,” Smith previously told WWD about taking on the position. “When he reached out to me, I was just blown away, because of how similar we are and how much we like to do things in a similar manner.”
