Timothée Chalamet is using “method dressing” to promote his film “Marty Supreme.” The movie hits theaters on Christmas Day, and the actor has been hitting the pavement going from coast to coast and across the Atlantic to ensure that fans are inspired to buy tickets. The actor has used his knowledge of movie marketing and his affinity for fashion and his passion for sneakers to put together looks for the press tour that have had people talking.
Many of the “Dune” actor’s ensembles have features some type “Marty Supreme” orange, which has become the film’s signature color after the actor decided the film’s marketing needed a color the way pink was used in the promo for 2023’s “Barbie.” The orange shade symbolizes a part of the story in which his character Marty Reisman uses orange balls for better visibility while playing ping-pong. It also doesn’t hurt that orange is also one of the colors for his home basketball team, the New York Knicks.
The actor has pulled shoes from the archives from the years when he was growing up like the G-Unit boots he wore in London, which show his love for both hip hop and sneaker culture, and has also tapped Chrome Hearts and Timberland to create custom boots to elevate his outfits.
