Stephen Curry’s On-Court Sneaker Style Through the Years [PHOTOS]

With his laser-sharp three point shot and expert agility, Stephen Curry is regarded as one of the greatest NBA players to ever hit the basketball court. Naturally, this earned the point guard a long-term athletic ambassadorship, signing a deal with Under Amour in 2013 after starting off as a Nike athlete when he joined the league in 2009.

After more than a decade working together, it was announced that Curry and Under Armour were splitting up in November 2025. Their partnership encompassed 13 signature shoe models including the forthcoming Curry 13 slated for release in February. In 2020, the subsidiary Curry Brand was launched, with a focus on community as well as sport, and in 2023 the basketball star was named president of the line. Now that Curry and Under Armour are going their separate ways, he retains the rights to Curry Brand himself and can find a new partner. Since the announcement of the separation, the longtime Golden State Warrior player has been modeling other brands on the court, harkening back to the Nike days of his college and early NBA career, and lacing up other brands including Adidas and Li-Ning, too.

Below, FN rounds up Stephen Curry’s on-court sneaker journey through the years, from playing for the Davidson Wildcats in 2008 to modeling a slew of signature sneakers to exploring his options as a free agent. But no matter the brand, you might still find “I can do all things” written as words of encouragement on his sneakers.
