FKA Twigs Brings Paris’s Most Extreme Boot to Pandora’s Pink Carpet

Her red-soled Louboutin platforms were crafted for Matières Fécales’ “alien-esque elegance” debut.

FKA Twigs brought one of the season’s most avant-garde shoe collaborations Stateside on Monday evening, performing at Pandora’s Talisman Collection launch in New York in a pair of Christian Louboutin boots for Matières Fécales.

The black leather style — defined by a sharply pointed toe, sculptural curved-back platform and signature red sole — debuted during Matières Fécales’ fall 2025 runway in Paris. The label, helmed by Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, tapped Louboutin to engineer the exaggerated footwear for their first official collection, staged under the banner of Dover Street Market Paris.

As WWD’s Miles Socha reported from the show, Dalton and Bhaskaran are “promoting an alien-esque elegance.” Their debut included hunch-shouldered tailoring, Grim Reaper-inspired black looks and finale gowns sprouting wings of cock feathers. The footwear carried the same otherworldly code, balancing Louboutin’s precision heel-making with Matières Fécales’ surrealist scale.

The choice continues a string of extreme silhouettes in the artist’s shoe rotation. Just one night earlier, she closed the MTV Video Music Awards in a distressed version of Windowsen’s Metal Dragon thigh-highs, a staggering silhouette measuring nearly 12 inches in height. Earlier this summer, she pivoted to performance wear with her On collaboration, launching the Cloud x FKA sneaker as part of a practice-based training capsule.

At Pandora’s event, where guests, including Pamela Anderson, Katseye and Tyla, explored the brand’s talismanic installations, Twigs’ set emphasized the cerebral slant of the evening. By bringing Matières Fécales’ Paris experiment to a New York stage, she extended her footwear narrative into the brand’s vision of “the other.”
