Gianvito Rossi’s clear heels have become something of a hot-ticket item in Hollywood. This year alone, the likes of Anne Hathaway, Amal Clooney and Maura Higgins have endorsed the brand’s see-through look, all stepping out in its Plexi metal-cap heels. On Saturday night, Chrissy Teigen followed suit, attending the 12th annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in the label’s Cher silhouette.

Retailing for $1,095, Teigen’s shoes featured a clear PVC upper that created a barely there illusion, set on a nude-colored 95mm stiletto heel with an open, peep-toe silhouette. The see-through detail extended to a slingback strap, fastened with a buckle at the ankle. Made in Italy, the eye-catching shoes also come in burgundy for a slightly more subdued take on the transparent look, alongside additional clear silhouettes from the brand, including mules and chunky block heels.

Teigen styled the clear heels with a beige dress from Vietnamese fashion designer Cong Tri, a favorite amongst celebrities like Rihanna and Beyoncé Carter-Knowles. Crafted from organza striped appliqué, the strapless number boasted sculptural draping across the bodice that gathered at the hips into a knot. The pleated skirt extends into a fringe-trimmed hem, adding movement and drama to the silhouette. Teigen skipped a necklace, accenting the gown with chunky diamond earrings. The cookbook author was joined by her husband, John Legend, who wore a sharp black suit and coordinating bow tie.
