Blackpink’s Jennie Embraces the Satin Heels Trend for the 2026 Time 100 Gala

She paired the shoes with a Schiaparelli fall 2026 look.

On Thursday night, Blackpink’s Jennie made a bold entrance at the 2026 Time 100 Gala, hosted at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. The singer arrived in a straight-off-the-runway sculptural Schiaparelli fall 2026 look, grounded by sleek black satin heels.

The K-pop singer chose Casadei’s Blade Twenties pumps, priced at $910. As the name suggests, the silhouette is defined by a sculptural, knife-like 120mm stiletto heel, which slices cleanly through the back, creating an architectural profile. Made in Italy, the pointed-toe design is finished in lustrous satin, softening the otherwise sharp silhouette.

Casadei debuted its now-iconic Blade heels in 2011, when designer Cesare Casadei set out to create a signature for the brand that didn’t rely on flashing branding. Featuring a sharp, stainless steel stiletto heel, the shoes have since become a red carpet go-to, with fans including Taylor Swift, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.

For the gala, Jennie paired the pumps with a sculptural Schiaparelli look from the brand’s latest collection, which debuted on the runway in Paris last month. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the gown featured a plunging, body-contouring bodice cinched with a skinny black leather belt. A sheer mesh panel bridged the top and the long black velvet skirt, offering a subtle flash of skin. Styled by Sam Woolf, the Blackpink member finished the ensemble with handcrafted statement drop earrings from Swadesh and a slicked-back bun.

As always, the 2026 Time100 Gala drew a host of notable industry names, including Hailey Bieber, Dakota Johnson, Zoe Saldaña and Kate Hudson, among others. The only K-pop artist in attendance this year, Jennie was named one of the most influential people of 2026, with fellow musician Gracie Abrams writing her accompanying essay for the publication.
