Charli XCX added another pair to her growing Sundance boot lineup at the IndieWire Studio Presented by Dropbox on Saturday, opting for a pair of buckle-adorned Ann Demeulemeester spring 2026 boots while discussing her A24 mockumentary “The Moment.”
The mid-calf, brown leather boots featured a slight slouch and a low stacked heel with a treaded black sole. A rounded, darkened toe cap finished the front, while two wide straps wrapped the shaft — one at the ankle, the other closer to the top — each secured with a rectangular silver-tone buckle.
Charli paired the boots with a Tod’s buckled shearling coat, worn open over a white T-shirt and relaxed blue jeans. She carried a dark brown leather handbag, keeping the palette anchored in earth tones.

The look marked a clear continuation of Charli’s Sundance boot run. One day earlier, she appeared at The Variety Studio in Rodarte’s spring 2017 patchwork python boots, a knee-high stiletto style with multicolored snake-print leather panels and a sharply pointed toe. Off-camera and between events, Charli was also spotted in UGG boots.
It also continues a longer run of directional boots for the “Apple” singer. Last November, she flew through the air in Alexander McQueen spring 2026 white knee-high boots with side lacing in her “Chains of Love” video. During the summer 2025 music festival circuit, she opted for Fidan Novruzova’s black Havva Chunky Heel boots at Sziget Festival and again at Glastonbury.
“The Moment,” directed by Aidan Zamiri and co-written with Bertie Brandes from an idea by Charli, follows a fictionalized version of the singer as she prepares for a headlining tour after the release of her 2024 album “Brat.” The A24 film premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and opens in U.S. theaters on Jan. 30.
