Matthieu Blazy turned up the heat in the footwear department for his fall 2026 Chanel collection, which was presented during Paris Fashion Week on Monday with Teyana Taylor, Margot Robbie, Lily-Rose Depp and more celebrities seated front row.
The wide breath of shoe styles encompassed slingbacks, sandals, mules, pumps, boots and loafers, and toyed with embellishment, color, shape and material. It was a diverse collection in terms of the sheer number of styles and the aesthetic spectrum, which ranged from classic to quirky.

Leaning toward classic, there were cap-toe slingback pumps with a chunky flared block heel which didn’t stray too far from the quintessential cap-toe style the house is known for.
Blazy also presented logo-emblazoned loafers, including block-heel styles and classic flat versions, some injected with extra vigor by way of eye-catching colors like silver, gold or plum.
In the more daring realm, the cap-toe was redone with a colorful striped pump, and with skin-tight, thigh-high boots. Appealing to a customer with a taste for the avant-garde, a mule heel style was popular on the runway, made unique with a high-cut upper and a squared toe with a triangle cap toe accent. The triangular outline of the vamp mirrored this accent, and the style was elevated by a flared heel.
The fall 2026 collection also played with whimsical embellishments with its shoes. There were strappy heeled sandals adorned with lively floral appliqués in front, alongside quirky fuzzy heels.
Several strappy heel styles were on the runway, including a slingback with a futuristic aura conferred by its strap configuration and colorblocking.
This lineup of shoes follows Blazy’s spring 2026 debut, in which he showed off reinventions of the cap toe among other styles. His penchant for shoes with modern linear detailing came through in both the spring and fall collections.
