Beyonce Does Head-to-Toe Mugler With Sharp, Fang Platform Shoes for Tina Knowles’ ‘Matriarch’ Event in Los Angeles

The shoes were almost four inches tall.

Beyonce showed up for her mother, Tina Knowles, with her new book “Matriarch.” After bringing her mother onstage on the second night of the “Cowboy Carter” tour, Beyonce joined her mother for an event celebrating the book.

Beyonce posted images to Instagram from the night. She wore a head-to-toe look from Case Cadwallader’s final collection for Mugler. It included a sculpted skirt suit featuring exaggerated hips, a strong shoulder and pointed detailing including an inverted lapel. Styled by Shiona Turini, she also carried Mugler’s Fang bag.

For shoes, Beyonce chose to go full look: she wore the Fang platform heels that were seen on the runway with the ensemble. Hailing form the spring 2025 collection, the heels feature a sharply pointed toe. The toe not only narrows in width, but the platform also narrows, creating an angular shape. The upper was made of the same dotted grey fabric.

The shoes include a back counter and a thin ankle strap. They also include a curved heel that flares at the base. The heel measures 3.7 inches tall. Like the other Fang styles, the top of the heel extends beyond the back of the upper, coming to a sharp point.

While Mugler does not appear to be selling the shoe in this fabrication, similar styles in various fabrications range in price from $1,750 to $3,000.

The Fang series was the first Mugler shoe collection by Cadwallader. It was introduced in 2024 and spanned sandals, boots, mules and more. “I’ve been wanting to launch footwear for six years now,” he told Footwear News. “I’ve made a lot of shoes in the past for shows that’ve had really strong pointed metal toes and things that felt very dangerous. And so, I wanted a bit of that feeling. But at the same time to make it more real.” The designer and Mugler parted ways earlier this year.
