Autry and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro‘s sneaker capsule “Broken Something” hit the market on Tuesday after debuting at Paris Fashion Week as part of Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s fall 2025 show in January.
Releasing during Tokyo Fashion Week, the collaboration fuses Autry’s vintage Americana designs with the Japanese avant-garde ethos of Maison Mihara Yasuhiro. Autry’s Medalist sneaker takes center stage in the collection, reinterpreted with a clay-modeled midsole and outsized outsole. The upper remains unchanged.
The sole lends a vintage quality to the shoe. Available in men’s and women’s sizes, the sneaker is presented in three colorways including black, white and a two-toned option.

“Autry is a new standard sneaker brand,” said Mihara Yasuhiro in a statement. “In this era of ever accelerating and changing information and trends, this universal style is unrivaled. Autry’s design is timeless and goes against the grain, rejecting the trend-driven approach that dominates today’s fashion industry. I wanted everyone to understand this metaphor by including this co-branded sneaker design on my runway.”
The collaborative shoes are showcased in an AI-generated campaign which is said to be “rooted in the collaboration’s philosophy.” The campaign is described as “a surreal, post-industrial dreamscape of floating stones, fractured ruins, and suspended motion.”
Roberta Benaglia, president of Autry, said in a statement, “We’ve always believed in the power of authenticity and timeless design. Collaborating with Mihara Yasuhiro allowed us to explore new creative dimensions while remaining true to our identity. The result is a bold reinterpretation of our Medalist sneaker — one that merges two distinct cultures and aesthetics into a single, sculptural statement. We’re proud to bring this vision to life in such a dynamic way, both through the campaign and the immersive launch event in Tokyo.”
In other news from Autry, the brand opened a pop-up in Ibiza, which debuted its Sandy espadrille style, in June.
