Amelia Gray Switches ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Into Streetwear Mode With Supreme’s Nike Clogposites

Foamposite’s sculpted shell crossed from court to set in the hype label’s 2024 mule.

Amelia Gray added a piece of sneaker lore to the Manhattan set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” on Monday, wearing the Nike x Supreme Clogposite in black.

The silhouette, released during Supreme’s Week 3 drop in fall 2024, is a mule-style reinterpretation of Nike’s Air Flightposite One from 1999. Built from the brand’s Foamposite technology — liquid polyurethane molded under heat and pressure to form a single sculpted upper — the Clogposite carries the same sleek, alien-like contours that defined the original basketball shoe. Supreme’s update removed the collar and laces, leaving a slip-on clog finished with tonal Swooshes and the streetwear brand’s logo stamped along the heel.

Gray’s pair stayed true to the drop’s core black colorway, their glossy molded shells just visible under the hem of her loose denim. She styled the clogs with a black “Supermodel” crop T-shirt, oversize bomber jacket and a purple Balenciaga City bag, a look that blurred set wardrobe with off-duty uniform. Whether as costuming or casual arrival wear, the shoes marked one of the most technical silhouettes spotted on set so far.

Foamposite’s path into clog territory has been circuitous. Nike first debuted the technology in 1997 with the Air Foamposite One, designed for Penny Hardaway. While initially a commercial miss, the model became a cult favorite with its snug, molded fit and iridescent finish. By the end of the ’90s, the brand extended the tech into other basketball shoes — including the Flightposite — and even experimented with early mule versions that were largely dismissed at the time.

The slip-on arrived as part of a long-standing Supreme x Nike partnership. In June 2025, the two brands released a leopard-print Air Force 1 with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s GoodEnough, adding another archival twist to their ongoing collaboration. The Clogposite sits within that continuum, bridging a late-’90s basketball relic with today’s appetite for molded footwear.

For Gray, the choice extends a footwear streak that has included both campaign and set appearances. Earlier this summer she fronted Stella McCartney’s Elyse capsule built from mycelium-based vegan leathers, and promoted Puma’s archival Mostro sneaker in a new campaign. The Clogposite marks a pivot to harder-edged sneaker culture — one rooted less in sustainability and more in cult following.
