Despite having access to the newest products on the market, Amanda Seyfried isn’t shy about rewearing her favorite wardrobe pieces. Case in point: The actress has been pictured in Miu Miu’s black penny loafers — which debuted in the fashion house’s spring 2022 collection — on numerous occasions, the latest being during a conversation at BFI Southbank in London on Thursday.
Reflecting on her decades-long career and her latest film, “The Testament of Ann Lee,” Seyfried opted for a polished, slightly preppy look for the discussion. Her footwear is an updated take on classic penny loafers, which trace back to the 1950s. Miu Miu zhuzhed up the perennial silhouette with brushed leather, an embossed logo on the tongue and a shiny gold coin detail. Also available in bright red, the shoes boasted a low heel and a round moc-stitch toe.
