Amanda Seyfried attended the 28th SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Monday, where she spoke at the screening of “The Testament of Ann Lee.” For the appearance, the “Long Bright River” actress wore Miu Miu’s celebrity-favorite black penny loafers, which were decidedly the focal point of her all-black look.
The Italian fashion house reimagined the timeless silhouette popularized in the 1950s with a high-shine gold coin detail and an embossed logo on the tongue. Made from brushed leather, the loafers featured a low heel and a round moc-stitch toe.
Seyfried, who is styled by Elizabeth Stewart, took the shoes in a preppy direction with the luxury label’s gray ribbed cashmere socks. Perhaps Seyfried gleaned styling inspiration from Doechii, who wore the same loafer-and-socks combination over the summer during a performance at Outside Lands.

Seyfried kept her outfit simple for the outing, opting for a black long-sleeve minidress with a high neckline. The actress forewent a necklace, instead accenting the pared-back number with a rose gold watch, two small gold hoops and dainty rings. She styled her long blond hair in a slicked-back bun, completing the beauty look with black eyeliner and a nude lip.
At this year’s film festival, the “Mean Girls” alum was the recipient of the Vanguard Award, thanks to her work in “The Testament of Ann Lee.” Accepting her award, Seyfried addressed the lively audience, explaining, “This is a fever dream.” She continued, “You guys just showing up and letting me know that I’ve made a little bit of an impact is really so nice.” For the memorable moment, Seyfried was outfitted in a long black lace gown from Elie Saab’s resort 2026 collection.
