Amal Clooney joined her husband, George Clooney, in London for The King’s Trust and TKMaxx & Homesense Awards 2025 at The Royal Festival Hall on Thursday. For the event, she wore one of her tried-and-true shoe designs by Gianvito Rossi, paired with a white dress and Cartier jewelry.
Clooney paired a pair of Gianvito Rossi Plexi pumps, which she has worn in both metallic silver and gold over the years to a number of events. This time around, she opted for a silver style, pairing it with a white, strapless column gown featuring a thigh-high slit and a halter-style neckline detail.

While the main dress is strapless, an additional detail around the neck resembles a halter style, featuring a metal triangle as a decorative element at the neckline. Clooney turned to the Plexi pump in silver to tie the look together, as well as matching understated Cartier jewelry. Clooney, who is an ambassador for the brand, wore black C de Cartier sunglasses, an 18-karat white gold Cartier Juste un Clou bracelet, and an 18-karat rose gold Cartier Love ring. She also carried a Jimmy Choo “Clemmie” clutch.
The Plexi is one of Gianvito Rossi‘s signature styles. The shoe is a pointed-toe pump set on a 105mm stiletto heel and crafted from leather and soft see-through Plexi around the sides of the foot, giving a crystal slipper illusion.
The metallic gold and silver shoe styles are not currently available on the site; however, the luxury footwear designer offers the beloved pump in black, red, white and nude. The shoes retail for $815.
Clooney recently wore the silver pair during an outing in New York City with her actor husband, after the premiere of his Broadway show “Good Night, And Good Luck.” She wore the pair in gold at the We Choose the Earth Mundial Conference in June 2023 and in silver to the Kennedy Center Honors in December 2022.
Clooney has worn a variety of footwear brands over the years, but tends to historically stick to Gianvito Rossi, Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and others. Check out more celebrities who love to wear Gianvito Rossi’s shoes.
