Zappos Milestone: Party Pictures

Zappos.com knows how to treat its vendors. With its headquarters just a stone’s throw from Las Vegas, the location couldn’t be more perfect for a party. In the past few years, in particular, the shoe industry has looked forward to Zappos’ annual bashes during The WSA Show. In 2006, vendors were invited poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel. The next year, Zappos staged an all-night extravaganza at the Venetian’s Tao nightclub, complete with an indoor skateboard ramp, rooftop bar and a larger-than-life Buddha statue (in a Zappos T-shirt, of course). Not to be outdone by itself, in 2008, the company headed to The Palms, where partygoers split their time between the hotel pool and Rain nightclub. Attendees enjoyed vodka-infused snow cones, while live penguins took to the rooftop. Top that off with some raging holiday parties, and life at Zappos is pretty good.
