In his latest footwear tie-up, menswear designer Todd Snyder has teamed up again with Sperry to update two of the footwear brand’s signature shoes.
For the duo’s second collaboration, the Sperry x Todd Snyder collection includes new versions of the CVO sneaker and the Authentic Original boat shoe.
And as Sperry marks the 90th anniversary of its original non-slip deck shoe – the Circular Vamp Oxford (CVO) – Snyder is elevating the classic with weatherproof British Ventile fabric, a nod to the brand’s maritime heritage.

The designer noted that he modernized the design with a raised rubberized gum sole and a double-layered upper – a nod to the original CVO. Plus, the extended foxing subtly nods to its U.S. military roots, while key performance features remain, including razor-cut wave siping on the outsole and vulcanized construction. Additional updates to the style include a canvas lining, and heel pull-tab. The style retails for $120 and is available in black and cream.

As for Sperry’s Authentic Original boat shoe, each pair is made from premium aniline leather designed to patina with wear and features a Vibram sole as well as a premium sheepskin leather lining. This style retails for $230 and is available in black and tan.
“Designing this collection was a chance to honor a brand that’s been a staple in my wardrobe for decades,” Snyder, founder and president of his eponymous label, said in a statement. “Sperry’s 90-year legacy – rooted in authenticity, innovation, and Americana – gave us the perfect foundation to build upon. I wanted to respect that tradition while introducing thoughtful updates that reflect today’s more refined, yet relaxed, approach to dressing – elevating something classic and utilitarian through design and craftsmanship.”
Jonathan Frankel, president of Sperry, added that Snyder has “proven to be an invaluable partner” for the company.

The Sperry x Todd Snyder collection is now available on ToddSnyder.com and Sperry.com and in all Todd Snyder retail locations.
This news comes one year after the duo teamed up on their first project together. In May 2024, Snyder updated Sperry’s Authentic Original boat shoe with a luxe suede upper sourced from Charles F. Stead & Co. in Leeds, UK.
