As spring quickly approaches, even more brands are getting in on the boat shoe brand.
The latest to hit the market this week is a new collaboration between Sperry and Vancouver-based retailer Aritzia. Together, the brands have updated two Sperry silhouettes, the Slim boat shoe and the Authentic Original 2-Eye boat shoe.
The refreshed Sperry x Aritzia Slim boat shoe is a sleek take on the classic, featuring a narrow toe box, full-grain leather upper, and molded anti-slip outsole for traction. The style is available in a brown and light brown colorway.

As for the Sperry x Aritzia Authentic Original 2-Eye shoe, it’s offered in tan and brown, and features rawhide laces and Sperry’s signature Razor-Cut Wave-Siping outsole.
According to Sperry, both silhouettes come complete with a re-lacing needle and three interchangeable laces, ranging from classic to colorful, to personalize Sperry’s signature 360 Lacing System. Both styles retail for $120.
Jonathan Frankel, president of Sperry, told FN that the company is “thrilled” to partner with Aritzia on this launch.
“This collaboration allows us to introduce the all-new Slim boat shoe alongside our iconic Authentic Original boat shoe to the Aritzia community,” Frankel said. “The boat shoe is more than just a trend—it’s a timeless staple that has defined style for nearly nine decades. This partnership is a perfect fusion of heritage and modernity, bringing fresh versatility to an enduring icon.”
The two new Sperry x Aritzia boat shoe styles are now available exclusively at Aritzia.com and select Aritzia boutiques in the U.S. and Canada. The full collection will be available on Sperry.com starting Friday, March 14.
This launch comes as Sperry doubles down on the boat shoe with recent projects. Last month, the shoe brand teamed up with Nordstrom to highlight its boat shoe offering as part of the retailer’s Make Room for Shoes program. For the month of February, the two companies also came together on a limited-edition capsule collection of footwear designed specifically for Nordstrom.
