StockX continues to add to its executive team with its latest hire.
On Tuesday, the online marketplace named Brendan Dunne as its first-ever senior director of customer community and engagement.
In this newly created role, the company said that Dunne will be responsible for “driving customer engagement efforts, deepening StockX’s relationships across the sneaker, streetwear, and collectibles communities.” He will also serve as a brand ambassador, representing StockX across a variety of external platforms—both online and in person—and play a role in the company’s editorial content strategy.
Dunne joins StockX from Complex, where he most recently served as head of sneakers. There, he oversaw editorial strategy, partnerships, and content initiatives. Dunne has also worked on campaigns with brands like Foot Locker, Adidas, and Reebok, and interviewed industry figures including Tinker Hatfield, Jerry Lorenzo, Action Bronson, Lupe Fiasco, J Balvin, and more.

Dunne is the latest new hire to join the company. In June, StockX named Daniel De Jesus Krueger as its new vice president and head of creative. In this role, the company said he will lead its global creative direction, defining the evolving StockX brand and its application through brand design, imagery, tone of voice, and overall storytelling.
