Roger Vivier has reopened its boutique at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif., unveiling a renovated space that sharpens the maison’s Parisian identity.
Opened in 2012 as the brand’s debut California outpost, the store now layers Versailles parquet floors and ornate French molding with mirrored walls and gilded edges. The mix nods to Roger Vivier’s eclectic eye — blending classic decorative codes with Art Nouveau accents he admired — while silver-clad walls echo the Salle d’Argent at the Paris flagship.
Shoes, handbags, jewelry and waistcoats are displayed in illuminated niches and cubist shelving, creating a play of light that draws focus back to the house icons themselves.

To mark the occasion, two South Coast Plaza exclusives have been introduced: the Viv Skate High sneaker with a lacquered buckle and red stripe, and the Grand Vivier bag in navy napa leather. Both tie back to the autumn 2026 collection, which pulls Riviera shades of red, white and blue into the house’s heritage silhouettes. Guests were invited to enjoy the space over the weekend.
The Costa Mesa boutique originally signaled Roger Vivier’s move west, joining existing flagships in New York and Miami. Then as now, the space functions as more than a retail stop — it’s a point of entry into the maison’s universe.
The reopening comes on the heels of Roger Vivier’s move into a new Paris headquarters, an 18th-century hôtel particulier in Saint-Germain-des-Prés that unites its archive and creative studio.
Founded in 1937, the maison’s legacy includes innovations like the Virgule and Choc heels, designs that continue to shape its identity today. Revived by Diego Della Valle in 2003, the brand is part of Tod’s Group.
