Pierre Hardy took a sole-ful approach for spring. He introduced a new sporty sneaker, called the Comet, a low-cut runner with textured rubber soles and cutout grooves. Hardy added a textured gum sole to his espadrilles for easier urban treading, as well. Some of the label’s more classic shoe models, such as the Hopper and Judd, now have their soles hand-stitched by Italian manufacturers. “When I think about the collection for men, [the idea] is to create the ideal shoe wardrobe for any moment of the guy of today,” said the designer, who also presented a capsule — including sneakers, a pouch and toiletries bag — created for Les Bains’ new concept store.
