Nordstrom Teams Up With Reformation for ‘Make Room for Shoes’ Collection

Nordstrom's exclusive Reformation shoe collection includes six footwear styles like day-to-night heels, stylish flats, versatile sandals and more.

Nordstrom has tapped Reformation for the latest edition of its Make Room for Shoes program.

The department store, which is going private this year, has teamed up with the brand for a month-long event that gives Nordstrom customers access to a limited-edition capsule collection of footwear designed specifically for the retailer.

The exclusive Reformation shoe collection includes six footwear styles like day-to-night heels, stylish flats, versatile sandals and more. One of the standout silhouettes include the Petra cylinder heel sandal, which is characterized by a knotted gathering of metallic straps across the toe of the sandal that’s made from shimmery Brazilian leather.

Tacey Powers, executive vice president and general merchandise manager for shoes at Nordstrom told FN that Reformation, already a key apparel brand at Nordstrom, has big potential in shoes.

“Reformation does an incredible job balancing trending elements with timeless designs, and this collection delivers versatile styles we hope our customers will love,” Powers said. “As always, Reformation never compromises on their unwavering commitment to sustainability, and we’re excited to extend our partnership by expanding into shoes.”

First announced in February 2024, the Make Room for Shoes initiative comes to life through monthly partnerships with some of the industry’s top footwear brands. So far, the retailer has highlighted brands such as On, Birkenstock, Sam Edelman, Larroudé, Dolce Vita, Sperry, Ugg and Vionic.

This latest edition of Make Room for Shoes comes just months after Nordstrom said its focus on its footwear roots this year is paying off.

On the company’s third-quarter earnings call in November, Pete Nordstrom, president of the Seattle-based department store chain, told analysts that its Make Room for Shoes campaign was one of the contributors to its growth in the period.

Nordstrom’s “Make Room for Shoes” campaign featuring Reformation runs now through April 6.
