Jacquemus Teams Up With Timberland on Lug Sole Boat Shoe Model

The shoe will release on April 23.

Another designer boat shoe is about to hit the market.

Later this month, Jacquemus will release a new collaboration with Timberland, which sees the French fashion house update the VF Corp.-owned outdoor brand’s signature three-eye lug boat shoe.

Dubbed “La Bateau” by Jacquemus, the original model was first introduced by Timberland in 1978 and has become a summer essential from coastal New England to the south of France.

Featuring premium leather, a rugged lug outsole, soft leather lining, and cotton laces, the Timberland x Jacquemus boat shoe also includes a co-branded metal lace keeper and square lace-tip eyelets.

The Timberland x Jacquemus boat shoe, which will retail for $250, will be available starting April 23 at Jacquemus.com and select Jacquemus stores worldwide, including its new Los Angeles location opening April 24. The shoe will also be offered at Timberland’s Tokyo store and Timberland.com.

With this new collaboration, Timberland joins Nike as Jacquemus’ latest footwear partner. In January, the fashion label previewed its latest shoe with Nike during its fall 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. For the upcoming launch, Jacquemus updated Nike’s Moon Shoe. The style, which was Nike’s first-ever sneaker debuted in 1972, now comes in a light-yellow hue and a waffle sole.

In July, the Nike and Jacquemus took over Selfridges’ Wonder Room in London to showcase their collaboration in the gear up to last summer’s Olympic Games. The metallic installation mimicked a gym locker room and featured a red life-size Le Swoosh bag from the collection sitting in the middle of the space.

Last summer’s collection, which featured a co-branded Air Max 1, built on a longstanding partnership between Nike and Jacquemus. The brands first collaborated in 2022 with the Jacquemus’ Air Humara as well as a mix of athletic ready-to-wear pieces for a debut collection inspired by vintage ACG and ’90s Nike campaigns.
