Blundstone is set to release a new capsule of Chelsea boots with Filson this month.
The collaboration introduces three co-designed Chelsea boots: the #2534, #2535, and #2536, the Australian footwear brand said in a statement. Each silhouette uses the brand’s new Avalon Gecko TPU sole design for grip and durability, and features premium water-resistant leathers, and incorporates co-branded Comfort Arch Footbed with XRD Technology for comfort.
Drawing from deep roots in workwear and outdoor exploration, the collaboration also introduces a first-ever detailing for Blundstone, leather pull-loops embossed with “Blundstone” on the back tab and “Filson” on the front tab. Each boot also incorporates subtle pops of Filson’s signature “Blaze Orange” color on the interior of the elastics and footbed.

Joe Cafora, global range manager of lifestyle for Blundstone, told FN that the new collaboration was all about staying true to the brand’s roots.
“Each colorway – Sienna waxed suede, teak oiled and waxed nubuck, and black pebbled bison leather – draws from the heritage palettes that both Filson and Blundstone are known for,” Cafora said. “And with blaze orange accents, we’ve added a signature Filson moment that ties it all together.”
Alex Carleton, creative director of Filson, added that Blundstone shares the brand’s same commitment to “honest design.”
“Together, we’ve created footwear that bridges continents and generations, uniting Tasmanian grit with Pacific Northwest resilience,” Carleton noted. “These boots embody what both our brands stand for: timeless craftsmanship, purposeful design, and the belief that the best gear doesn’t just protect you in the elements – it becomes part of your story.”
The Blundstone x Filson boots, which retail for $239.95, will be available at Blundstone.com, Filson.com and at select global retailers in unisex sizing from Oct. 23.
Blundstone is no stranger to collaborations. In February, the company revealed a tie-up with Comme des Garçon Homme and its creative director Junya Watanabe.
For this collab, the designer drew inspiration from Blundstone‘s All-Terrain series, originally crafted for culinary professionals, to create the exclusive #2453 clog. Limited to just 500 pairs, the clog featured a black waterproof leather upper embossed with CDGH’s logo and a blue and white striped lining displaying co-branding detailing on the insole.
