Artist Holds Kanye West Painting Hostage for Lifetime Supply of Yeezy’s

An artist who went viral for a mural he painted of Kanye West kissing himself has responded to West’s demand to have the art taken down with a request for $100,000 and a lifetime supply of Yeezy sneakers.

Scott Marsh, the Australian artist who transformed a photo of West kissing wife Kim Kardashian into a mural which depicts the rapper-turned-designer kissing himself, claims he was contacted by West’s management offering a large payment to paint over the wall on which the mural was drawn.

In response, Marsh is releasing a special one-off print of the mural for $100,000, which he’s hoping the rapper will purchase. He’s also asking for a lifetime supply of West’s Yeezy sneakers.

“I’m offering an oversized print which has been painted over for $US100,000,” Marsh told 702 ABC Sydney. “It’s an open invitation to Kanye. If he buys that print then I’ll paint over the mural.”
