“It Ends With Us,” a film based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel from 2016, will hit the theaters on Aug. 9. The film is the first of Hoover’s works to be translated to the big screen, following the novel’s immense popularity on social media.
The film stars Blake Lively as Lily Bloom and Justin Baldoni as Ryle Kincaid. Baldoni also directs it. The cast includes Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Amy Morton and Brandon Sklenar.
Christy Hall adapted the story while Hoover was closely involved in the production process.
At the New York premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Aug. 6, Lively was joined by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, his mother, Tammy Reynolds, actor Hugh Jackman and model Camille Kostek. See photos of the event below.
