Vilebrequin Entering Skin Care With Sun Range

HERE COMES THE SUN: Vilebrequin is branching out into sun care with the launch in July of an SPF face cream, body cream, kids’ cream and after-sun moisturizing spray. The sun range will be sold at Vilebrequin stores and on its Web site, as well as Scoop locations. The foray into sun care is part of a broader strategy to expand Vilebrequin into more lifestyle products by G-III Apparel Group Ltd., which acquired the Swiss-based company last August for $106.2 million. In November, a line of Vilebrequin bags and an outerwear program will launch at retail, said Brian Lange, president of the Americas region.
