BREAKING A SWEAT: The Grand Palais in Paris, site of Chanel couture shows and ritzy art fairs, is hosting something altogether different this weekend: a giant aerobics class. Organized by Reebok and Les Mills, the international gym chain based in New Zealand, the four-hour event starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday will feature various workout units with professional trainers and introduce new formats such as Bodyvive Active.
There will be some fashion, too. The event is slated to begin with a show illustrating the evolution of fitness apparel from the Eighties through today. Meanwhile, in a series of mini-fashion shows scheduled between each fitness class, Reebok is to present its upcoming fall collection along with the brand’s first collaboration with Les Mills, comprising footwear, sports apparel and accessories.
