After taking a break this year, both Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole will return to the runway in 2007.
Both labels are working to upgrade their positioning from better to upscale contemporary, and have used the time away from very public showings to rethink the collections.
Tommy Hilfiger last showed in September 2005 for its 20th anniversary, and is returning to the runway this February, according to a Tommy Hilfiger spokeswoman.
Kenneth Cole, traditionally the first show in New York Fashion Week, is also taking two seasons off. Its last show was February 2006, and it will make its comeback in September 2007.
