Kellwood Co. has acquired the assets of CRL Group, LLC, owner of the Vince brand and trademark.
Based in Southern California, Vince is a contemporary women’s sportswear collection which is expected to achieve sales in excess of $45 million this year. The line is sold in such stores as Barneys New York, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
Vince will operate as part of Kellwood’s Western Region division. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
